Support Dog Adoption and Rescue. Why go to a dog breeder or pet store to buy a dog when you can adopt?
Our Featured Kannapolis, NC Partner:
Dog adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog and you’ll have a friend for life! Contact us, or contact another local humane society, animal shelter or SPCA.
Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:
We mainly take cocker spaniels from the area shelters of NC and sometimes purebred corgi’s. Our focus is on education, and saving as many homeless cockers as possible in hopes of finding forever homes.
About Our Rescue Group:
My husband and I have been involved in rescue for many years. We started our own cocker rescue back in 2001. Our hope is to continue the work we love in helping as many homeless and shelter cockers find happy new forever homes.
Come Meet our Pets:
We show pets upon application approval and home checks. Once all is approved we arrange for adoptions to happen on Saturdays. As we grow we will maybe hold weekend adoption shows.
Our Adoption Process:
Our adoption process begins with applications which we email to potential adopters. Our fee is $300 for which all pets are altered, groomed, current on all shots, as well. Written proof is given to each adopter at time of adoption. Why should you adopt?
Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you’ll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.

It makes things harder than they need to be!
Right now I’m impatiently awaiting reply from a cat rescue about a bonded pair of Himalayan cats that my sweetie’s interested in adopting.
K’s been looking at cats for A YEAR AND A HALF! The average legnth of time it takes me to find an animal is a week!
Anyway she really wants a bonded pair, not kittens, preferably Himalayans, that are good with other cats & dogs.
This was not an easy order to fill. I would LOVE IT if these two cats are the right fit
